Graduation

Two of our Experts by Experience graduate from Northumbria University with a Certificate in Higher Education for completing the Public Engagement and Co-Production in Research course. Here is a quote from one of our EbE’s who participated in the course: ‘It's been nice to be called a student. When you lose your home when you lose everything in life you don’t get to be given very nice labels. If you told people you were living in a hostel they automatically summarise, wrongfully that you’re a drug addict, or you’re a waste of space, or your problems are self-inflicted. It's only you to blame for the situation you’re in. So it's nice to be labelled a student instead of something else when you’re in that position.’
